Christmas can be a particularly difficult time for those affected by cancer. This release is in support of all the people who are struggling right now or who have lost loved ones, friends, family and colleagues. Cancer Support Scotland does an amazing job year-round in supporting individuals and families.

THIS TUNE IS COMPOSED IN MEMORY OF HAN FISHER
...from Grantown-on-Spey in the Scottish Highlands - a dear family friend who lost his battle with cancer in November 2020. A rope-access man to trade and a member of a mountain rescue team, Han was lover of the great outdoors, rock climbing, mountaineering tales, drinking beer, juggling fire, swallowing swords, lying on beds of nails, body piercings and above all, regaling friends and family with hilarious anecdotes and stories! He was generally the loudest person at any party! This piece of music is for Han, and we like to think that our insanely intense, over-the-top, screaming Viking death metal twist on a sprightly Scottish Highland bagpipe melody would have been right up Han's street! He would certainly have been chuffed that folk like yourselves - especially those of you who he'd never even met - were generously donating to the charity that were such an enormous support to him and his family in very hard times.

Here for those feeling isolated despite living on a busy street in Edinburgh.
Here for the carers feeling overwhelmed and unsure about what support is available for them where they live – whether that be in Glasgow or Inverness.
Here for those receiving chemotherapy and too scared to take the bus into Perth to meet their friend for a coffee.
Here for those who need time to work through their emotions, with a little help from a counsellor.
Here for anyone in Scotland affected by cancer. At the end of the phone or over Zoom, we are still here for you.
